Perpetrol is proud to offer this incredibly rare and custom-built 1955 Studebaker E-12 C-Cab Pickup, a true one-of-a-kind 4x4 dually that blends vintage character with modern performance. Originally ordered as a forest service truck, this E-12 features a factory-ordered dually rear—an uncommon spec for these trucks—making it a unique part of Studebaker history.
Power comes from a Studebaker 289ci V8 mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission, upgraded with a Holley Sniper EFI system for reliable and responsive fuel delivery. The drivetrain runs strong with no leaks or issues, and it’s backed by power steering, power brakes (disk front, drum rear), and working air conditioning, offering a vintage truck experience with modern comfort.
The chassis is a custom Chevrolet unit, fitted with a 3-link front suspension and a leaf-sprung rear, providing improved drivability and control. The underside is exceptionally clean and well cared for, reflecting the detailed attention the truck has received over the years. The build was started in 2004 by the current owner and comes with extensive documentation and records from day one.
The exterior is finished in a single-stage green and white paint job, garage kept and regularly waxed. It shows well, with zero rust or Bondo with only a paint touch up on the passenger side rear fender, and sits on a factory-style long bed with an unmistakable C-Cab silhouette that draws attention wherever it goes.
