1963 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside Pickup

Restored | 140 HP | $34,500

Offered for sale is this beautifully restored 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside Pickup, a unique and rare forward-control truck that combines vintage style with thoughtful performance upgrades. Restored by the team at Eigenman Auto Repair, this Rampside has been built with quality, drivability, and originality in mind.

Under the bed sits a 1965 140 H.P. flat-six engine featuring a power cam, TRW Power forged .030 over pistons, and a .010 undersized crankshaft—all balanced with care for smooth operation. The clutch is a Corsa-type heavy-duty pressure plate, professionally balanced for confident engagement, and the harmonic balancer has been rebuilt by Dale Engineering. The drivetrain has also been upgraded to 1964-style shift linkage for improved reliability and feel.

The paintwork is a standout, finished in a 1981 Cadillac color in lacquer with some cracking and chips. The seamless paint job and especially superb rear black section give the truck a clean and polished look. A 30" glass-pack muffler provides just the right note, and the truck gets an impressive 22–24 mpg cruising at 65 mph.

The odometer shows 6,563 miles since the full restoration—this Corvair Rampside is ready for weekend cruising or show appearances. With its rare side-loading ramp, forward-control cab, and eye-catching finish, it's an exceptional piece of Chevrolet truck history.
